Our Leadership
JoAnn Tuttle, M.S. CCC-Sp. is a foreign accent reduction provider and President of Global Speech Solutions. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the states of New York and New Jersey and a member of the Corporate Speech Pathology Network (CORSPN). She has been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology for over 30 years. She holds two Master’s Degrees; Communication Disorders and Educational Administration and Supervision. Work experience includes Speech-Language Pathologist in the public school setting as well as Administrator of the Speech-Language-Hearing Department supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, Teachers of the Hearing Impaired and Educational Audiologist. She has had a practice in Foreign Accent Reduction, Language Development, Voice and Fluency for 30 years. She is an Educational Consultant for Special Education Students and has been a teacher in the field at a University. She has worked in professional training, development, and management as well as a clinician. She is experienced in coaching individuals and conducting group sessions. Her goal is to help foreign-born individuals to achieve their maximum potential in the work place by improving their English and Communications Skills.

Tamara Truax, MS is an experienced educator, specializing in the area of speech and language development. She has a background in Bilingual and Bicultural Education and is a New York state certified teacher. She holds degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Bilingual Education, and Instructional Technology. Her work experience encompasses over 20 years as a teacher and therapist in both public school and private settings. Tamara also has extensive experience in providing professional development workshops and maintains a private practice specializing in all areas of articulation and language development. She is the Executive Director of the EELEF program, and is experienced in coaching individuals and conducting group sessions.

Our Instructors
Global Speech Solutions instructors are P-ESL certified accent modification specialists who have extensive training in all areas of phonology and linguistics. Our instructors are licensed Speech and Language Pathologists, graduate level professors, and state certified teachers. They are experienced in teaching clients with a variety of backgrounds and will create a tailored program that offers individualized solutions based on the client’s need.
